28. Repatriation assistance ( Contents ) Special conditions
Previous provisions
- Period of cover: the period of cover of this insurance is linked to the accident policy issued by Liberty Seguros.
- Validity: To receive the covered benefits the insured must not be a Spanish national, but have primary residence in Spain and his or her time out of said primary residence must not exceed 60 days per trip.
- Territorial scope: This insurance cover is valid throughout the world and in Spain, outside of the insured's province of primary residence, with the exception of those covers which expressly have exclusive validity in Spain or abroad.
Companion in the event of transport due to death
In the event of repatriation of the insured due to death, the family of the deceased (spouse, first-degree ascendant or descendent relative, brother or sister), may designate one person to receive a round trip ticket (economy class by aeroplane or first class in train) from the country of origin to Spain, or vice versa, so they may accompany the mortal remains from the place of death to the burial site in the country of origin.
